The Seventh Biennial International Exhibition of Caricature the „ Golden Smile“ with the theme of INVENTIONS, and accompaying exhibtion of portrait caricatures of NIKOLA TESLA, to be held in adequate spaces: the Gallery of Science and Technology of SANU and the Nikola Tesla Museum.

The Biennial of Caricature is an oportunity for numerous caricaturists - illustrators to respond to an interesting and inspirational theme of inventions, but the personality of Nikola Tesla as well, in a humorous, sarcastic, provocative, unusual, original, nice, intriguing way. This is how a general theme and challange of portrait caricature of one of definitely most interesting figures in the world of science are joined, a personality who directed, if not determined, the guidelines and development of contemporary world. In this moment of growing interest in the leading figure in science who is of our origin, this exhibition is an original contribution of home and foreign caricature artists to get to know him better.

These exhibitions are a rare and original link between science and art, the fields which should be in harmony and present in the life of a 21st century man.

The exhibition is accompanied by the bilingual (Serbian – English) catalog which, being delivered to the participants, reaches all places around the world. This is not only a specific popularization of activities of the caricature artists, but also affirmation of our country and familiarization with it through a humor as universal communication language.

45th GOLDEN PEN OF BELGRADE

The 45rd Golden Pen of Belgrade, The 10th International Biennial of Illustration 2009, will be held at the Art Pavillion Cvijeta Zuzorić, Kalemegdan, Belgrade, in Friday 20. November at 7 p.m.

The jubilee Postage Stamp of the 50 th Golden Pen Ehxibition will be promoted on the occasion.

The ehxibition will be opened by 12th Decembre 2009, Оpening hours 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

15. Belgrade Biennial of Ceramics

We are undergoing intensive preparation for organizing the most important exhibitions of ceramists from Belgrade (and their friends).

15. Biennial of Ceramics in Belgrade will be held at the premises of the Legacy House in Knez Mihailova Street. 46 from 22nd December 2009. until 13th January. 2010.

Submission of photos on a CD form will be on the 09th, 10th and 11th November 2009. In the gallery Singidunum.

Photos must be in highest possible resolution and taken from three different angles (three photos).
