The Association is based upon the principle of members joining voluntarily with a view to achieving common interests. Those interests manifest themselves through promotion of the profession, and creativity in seeking to expand socio-culturological needs, enhance members` professional reputations, foster a professional code of ethics, and profit from artistic work.
The Association`s aims are to exhibit and promote our members` work and, in a social context, preserve and enhance the profession's position, and have it acknowledged as a national strategic interest. Other aims include: the popularisation of Association members' work, symposiums, the organisation of lectures and seminars, publishing activities, education, systematisation, and participation in adopting laws and rules governing the profession (royalties, artists' status, welfare, work and residential premises, tax and customs policy etc).
