THE RANKO RADOVIĆ AWARD 2009
The Ranko Radović Award 2009 Ceremony was held on Monday, December 21, 2009, in the Small Hall of the Ilija Milosavljević Kolarac Foundation in Belgrade .
The Ranko Radović Award Jury for the category of critical and theoretical texts on architecture, urban planning and towns , which was composed of Dragan Živković, B.Arch. (President), Asst.Prof. Aleksandar Ignjatović, B.Arch, Ph.D., and Vladimir Mitrović, Art Historian, passed the Decision to give the award in the category of critical and theoretical texts on architecture, urban planning and towns to Vladan Djokić, B.Arch., Ph.D., for his book titled Urban Typology: town square in Serbia, Faculty of Architecture of the University of Belgrade, 2009.
The Ranko Radović Award Jury, for the category of TV programs, exhibitions and multimedia presentations, which was composed of Asst.Prof. Ivan Rašković, B.Arch., (President), Radivoje Dinulović, B.Arch, Ph.D., and Branko Pavić, MA, passed the Decision to give the award in the category of TV programs, exhibitions or multimedia presentations to Prof. Vinko Penezić, B.Arch, and Prof. Krešimir Rogina, B.Arch., for their Manifesto for the Digital Counter-Revolution in Architecture, a description of how the installation titled Who's Afraid of the Wolf in the Digital Era? was created, the 11th Architecture Biennale of Venice 2008.
The Ranko Radović Award Jury for the realized architectural work, which was composed of Dragan Marinčić, B.Arch. (President), Milenija Marušić, B.Arch., and Vladimir Milenković, B.Arch., M.Sc., passed the Decision to give the award for the realized architectural work to Marjan Đulinac, B.Arch., Borislav Petrović, B.Arch., Ivan Rašković, B.Arch., Aleksandar Tomić, B.Arch., and Nada Jelić, B.Arch., (AGM Belgrade-SM Engineering Zrenjanin) for the new Sports Hall structure in Zrenjanin, 2009.
The participants in the competition were presented at the joint exhibition of all works that arrived, which was opened in the Ilija Milosavljević Kolarac Foundation (Music Gallery) on the day of Award Ceremony, December 21, 2009. The exhibition will be open for one week. During January and February 2009, the exhibition will be held at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad .

The RANKO RADOVIĆ AWARD 2008 Ceremony was held on Monday December 22, 2008, in the Small Hall of the Ilija Milosavljevića Kolarac Foundation in Belgrade .
The Ranko Radović Award Jury for the category of critical and theoretical texts on architecture, urban planning and towns (Prof. Irina Subotić, Ph.D., President of the Jury, Prof. Jerko Denegri, Ph.D., Prof. Sreten Vujović, Ph.D., and Feliks Pašić) passed the Decision to give the award for critical and theoretical texts on architecture, urban planning and towns to Prof. Ognjenka Finci for her book titled URBAN FURNITURE AND VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM DESIGN, the Association of Architects of Sarajevo, 2008.
The Ranko Radović Award Jury for the category of TV programs, exhibitions or multimedia presentations (Danijela Purešević, President of the Jury, Asst.Prof. Lidija Merenik, Ph.D., Aleksandar Crkvenjakov, MSc, Bojan Tepavčević, B.Arch., Prof. Rastko Ćirić), passed the Decision to give the award for TV programs, exhibitions or multimedia presentations to the Association of Belgrade Architects and Belgrade Cultural Center for international manifestation of the THIRD INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE WEEK 2008. The authors of the manifestation are: Jelena Ivanović-Vojvodić, B.Arch., Danica Jovović Prodanović, B.Arch., Ivan Kucina, B.Arch., Prof. Darko Marušić, B.Arch., and Ružica Sarić, B.Arch.
The Ranko Radović Award Jury for the category of the realized architectural work (Zorica Savičić, B.Arch. President of the Jury, Prof. Branislav Mitrović, B.Arch., Josif Pilasanović, B.Arch., Lazar Kuzmanov, B.Arch., and Aleksandar Spajić, B.Arch.) passed the Decision to give the award for the realized architectural work to Marušić Milenija, B.Arch., and Prof. Marušić Darko, B.Arch, for the Mixed-use Admininstrative and Business Building of METALS BANK, Stražilovska street No. 2, Novi Sad.
The participants in the competition were presented at the joint exhibition of all works that arrived, which was opened in the Ilija Milosavljević Kolarac Foundation (Music Gallery) on the day of Award Ceremony, December 22, 2008. The exhibition was open for one week.
During January 2009, the exhibition of participants in the Ranko Radović Award Completion was held at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad.

At its meeting on 26 November 2007, the Ranko Radovic Prize panel of judges decided to present the award for the best essay on architecture, urbanism and city to: Aleksandar Ignjatovic for his book, YUGOSLAVISM IN ARCHITECTURE 1904 – 1941, Gradjevinska knjiga a.d, 2007.
At its meeting on 13 November 2007, the Ranko Radovic Prize panel of judges decided to present the award for the best television show, exhibition and multimedia presentation to: Exhibition THE SERBIA AT THE PRAGUE QUADRIENNIAL 2007. Case study: Belgrade THEATRE-POLITICS-CITY, national curator Radivoje Danilovic, Author of the national setting: Branko Pavic Producer: Aleksandar Brkic, 2007.
At its meeting on 26 October 2007, the Ranko Radovic Prize panel of judges decided to present the award for the best completed architectual project to: The М+ Design office represented by Dragan Marincic, arch. eng, for the LEVI 9 building, 28 Laze Teleckog, Novi Sad.
The award nominees` entries were displayed a joint exhibition at the Ilija Milosavljevic Kolarac foundation (Music Gallery). The exhibition took place from 21 to 31 December 2007.
THE RANKO RADOVIĆ AWARD
ULUPUDS inaugurated the Ranko Radovic Prize at its 2006 last convention. The prize is awarded in the 3 architectural categories that Ranko Radovic specialised in.
1. Essays and books on architecture and the city, published in the last calendar year.
2. TV-shows, exhibitions or multimedia presentations.
3. The year`s most significant work of architecture.
The award consists of a financial reward and a diploma.
ULUPUDS is responsible for the Ranko Radovic Prize.
Under Association rules, the executive board is made up of 9 members, one of whom is ellected to be president. The board appoints 5 members of the panel of judges based on their expertise in the relevant fields. The rules for the Ranko Radovic Prize were adopted at ULUPUDS`s convention on 20 October 2006.
The award was presented for all the abovr three categories for the first time in 2006 .

At its meeting on Friday, 8 December 2006 at ULUPUDS head office, the panel decided to present this year`s award for essays and multimedia presentations to: Aleksandar Kadijevic, PhD, for his book, The Aesthetics of Academist Architecture (XIX-XXc), Belgrade, 2005; and to the TV Novi Sad camera crew, who filmed the Houses Build Cities and Moderna Architecture in Novi Sad programmes (2006); Radonja Dabetic and Vladimir Mitrovic, art historian.
The panel of judges for the Ranko Radovic Award included:

At its meeting held on Friday, 1 September 2006 at ULUPUDS head office the panel decided to present this year`s award for arcitectural work to: • Vlada Slavica, arch.eng, for The Belgrade Arena, the multi-purpose facility.
THE PAVLE VASIĆ AWARD 2009
The Association of Applied Arts Artists and Designers of Serbia announced the PAVLE VASIĆ AWARD Competition, which is given for the texts in the field of applied arts and design, in the narrowest sense, following one-year production published in all kinds of professional publications (monographs, books, collections, TV programs) and author's exhibitions of art historians accompanied by appropriate texts. The Competition was open from January 26 to February 10, 2009.
The Pavle Vasić Award Ceremony was held on March 12, 2009, at 12 hrs, in the Ceremony Hall of the Rector's Office of the University of Arts , Kosančićev venac 29/1.
Based on the competition material, the Jury composed of Prof. Dragan Bulatović, Ph.D., President, Gordana Stanišić, Senior Curator of the National Museum in Belgrade, and Nenad Makuljević, Ph.D., gave the Pavle Vasić Award for 2008 to VIDOSAVA GOLUBOVIĆ, Ph.D., and Prof. IRINA SUBOTIĆ, Ph.D., for the monograph titled ZENIT 1921-1926 , published by the National Library of Serbia, Institute for Literature and Art Belgrade, SKD Prosvjeta Zagreb, 2008.
The Pavle Vasić Award was established in 1995 with the aim to encourage, develop and promote critical and theoretical though in the field of art and design in Serbia . The Jury's Decision of Award Winners is announced on March 12. The Award consists of a charter and a monetary grant.
The Award is sponsored by the Mininstry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia .

The Pavle Vasić Award Ceremony for the work published in the field of applied arts and design for 2007 was held on March 12, 2008, in the Ceremony Hall of the Rector's Office of the University of Art .
The Pavle Vasić Award, which is given for the best published critical and theoretical text in the field of applied arts and design for 2007, was awarded to Milana Veinović, Art Historian from Pančevo for her cultural-historical and picturesque annals titled Pančevo on the old postcards 1898-1941, published by the Cultural Heritage Preservation Institute of Pančevo , 2007.
THE PAVLE VASIĆ AWARD 2007
On Monday 12 March 2007, in the Grand Hall of the Arts University Rectory, the Association of Applied Arts Artists and Designers of Serbia awards committee presented the 2006 Pavle Vasic Award for works in the field of applied art and design to Mirjana Roter-Blagojevic for her book, Belgrade Residential Architecture in the 19th and Early 20th Century.
ULUPUDS inaugurated the Pavle Vasic Award in 1955 with the aim of encouraging, developing and promoting the concept of applied art and design in Serbia.
The Award's co-founders were: The Society of Art Historians, the Museum of Applied Art, the Museum of Theatrical Art, the Society of Serbian Art Critics, Belgrade TV Programme.
The Pavle Vasić Award is presented for essays in the field of applied art and design, published in all forms of publication (monograph, books, collections, TV programmes) and art history exhibitions. The award is presented for the the best work of the previous calendar year.
The awards committee is made up of two ULUPUDS members, while each of the co-founders selects a further judge.
The committee looks at all works in the field of applied art and design, gathers material and submits it to the panel, which chooses a winner every two years.
The panel selects and announces the winner on March 12, on the anniversary of Pavle Vasic's death. The award consists of a diploma and a financial reward.
The award is sponsored by the Serbian Ministry of Culture.
