REČ KRITIKE:
Na izložbi japanskih akvarela "Haiku", Vesna Furundžić predstavlja se radovima u poslednjih 10 godina, od 1992. do 2002. iz 4 ciklusa:
Šljivin cvet, Vetar, Beli lotosov cvet nosi svetlost i Šum vode.
Akvareli su rađeni u japanskoj tehnici sumi-e na japanskom Washi i Pirinčanom papiru. Motivi koje ona slika imaju simbolično značenje kroz predstave godišnjih doba. Trešnjin cvet, mesec, šljivin cvet, bambus, orhideja, lotosov cvet i drugi motivi naslikani su sa puno suptilnosti i osećajnosti u nežnim i prozirnim bojama na dominirajućoj beloj površini, koje slici daju posebnu svežinu, impresivnost i poeticnost.

- piše na engleskom, nizozemskom, japanskom ...poeziju, kratke priče, književne, filozofske i umetničke tekstove, prevodi na engleski, holandski/flamanski, francuski i japanski jezik (e.g.vid. prevod na engleski za uvodni tekst Dijane Milašinović Marić kataloga 39. majske izložbe "Otkrivanje".

In 2001, I organized workshop in the School of Design in Belgrade on hand made paper, for the high school children, where we recycled old paper and produced new one, on which children painted their trees.
My idea was to inspire children to draw their own tree as they see it.

THE CRITICS' WORD:
At the exibition of Japanese aquarells "Haiku", Vesna Furunjich presented the works from the 4 cycles which have been made in the last 10 years, from 1992 to 2002.
Plum Blossom, The Wind, The White Lotus Flower carries the Light and The Water Rustle. The works have been made in the Japanese technique sumi-e on the Japanese Washi paper and rice paper, as well. The motives she paints have symbolic meaning through the seasons' scenes. Cherry Flower, The Moon, Plum Blossom, Bamboo, Orchid, Lotus Flower and other motives are painted with a lot of emotion and subtle touch in tender and transparent colours on the dominating white surface, giving the picture special freshness, impressiveness and poetic tone.
